Earth Fire

Sharing the rich legacy of the ancient Maya, Ruben and Gilda Perez recreate a hieroglyph in jade. It is named K'at, symbolizing the beginnings of fire in the center of the earth. Also representing the kitchen, K'at is the spirit of heat and the force of gravity itself. The artisans present the pendant on a black waxed cotton cord with a polished silver clasp.
