Atlantic Puffin

Mauricio Morales depicts the Atlantic puffin. Also known as the common puffin, the bird has white cheeks and a bright orange beak, which indicates its breeding plumage. As the name indicates, it thrives in the frigid waters and islands of the north Atlantic. The Guatemalan artisan depicts the realistic bird in a ceramic sculpture and carefully paints it by hand before protecting the colors with a coat of wax. The figurine is signed and identified by the artist.
