Conexion in Dark Green

Guatemala's Jimenez Family crafts these stunning hoop earrings using jade obtained from the foothills of the Sierra de las Minas in Zacapa. Jade has long been associated with the concept of immortality, as its hardness is close to that of a diamond. Here, polished cylinders of dark green jade form smooth hoops and are finished with sterling silver accents and saddleback catches. The artisans call the earrings Conexion, which translates to 'connection' in English.
