SKU: 199695
By Ruben and Gilda Perez, this necklace depicts an ancient glyph in jade. Known as Kawoq, it is the turtle nahual that connects humans with deities. In Maya cosmology, Kawoq represents the strength of union, expansive conscience, and the development of the cosmic plan. It also symbolizes growth, fertility and energy for spiritual and material abundance. The artisans present the pendant on a black waxed cotton cord with a polished silver clasp.
.925 Sterling silver
