Colorful Pomegranate

Lovely hand-painted ikat patterns in shades of green, blue, yellow and red against a backdrop of creamy vanilla adorn this precious ceramic sculpture resembling a pomegranate, Uzbekistan’s national fruit and a symbol of fertility. This impressive decorative accent is handcrafted with care by the artisans of the Hunarmand Association using the rich ceramic techniques of Rishton, a city celebrated for its natural and eco-friendly ishkor glaze derived from gulyak grass ashes.
