Half Light

These dangle earrings shine under the moonglow, their 925 sterling reflecting light in the same silver tone as the rocky satellite above. The aptly named selenite crystal, derived from the Greek for 'the moon', mirrors the banding of the lunar surface. Interpreting the half-lit moon through his own perception, Chilean-Nicaraguan silversmith Manuel Fredebrecht creates these modern dangle earrings, first drafting his design on paper, then slicing the required shapes from silver to attain the moon wrapped around the dreamy round-cut selenite core.
