Udilbia Corrales
"Hello! I am Udilbia Corrales, and I specialize in creating jewelry. I was born in a small rural town in Costa Rica, and from a young age, I discovered my passion for crafts. I studied at a technical vocational school where I developed skills and abilities for crafting. I learned this craft by watching manuals and tutorials, in addition to building upon my technical foundation. I have been self-employed for 5 years now, and I have a small workshop space in my home where I create my unique costume jewelry pieces. I offer small workshops to groups of women, and I love being able to share my knowledge with them.

"My creations are inspired by the nature of my country and the tradition of wearing handmade necklaces, bracelets, or earrings. My tools and looms are made by family members due to the cost of buying them, but they work perfectly, and I also use recycled materials like wood, screws, and paints.

"Throughout my life, I have gone through challenging times, but I have always found solace in creating my crafts, a way to relax and overcome any obstacles. I have also experienced very happy and amusing moments, like when I sewed something backwards, which ended up becoming a unique and beautiful piece.

"My dream is to have an income that supports my family and me in our daily expenses while continuing to fulfill myself as an artisan. What I love most about jewelry is the endless array of creations that can be achieved with it; the designs are so varied, and there's always something new to create.

"Apart from my art, I enjoy spending time with my family and having a relationship with my clients. I want to tell Novica's customers that I am very happy that my creations can reach many people in other places and that this benefits my personal and family growth.

Thank you for reading my story!"
