Red Pomegranate

In Uzbekistan, skilled artisans from the Hunarmand Association create a remarkable ceramic sculpture in the shape of a pomegranate. They meticulously paint vibrant red ikat patterns onto a creamy vanilla background for an exquisite decorative accent that draws inspiration from their country’s national fruit, known for its symbolism of fertility. Additionally, the sculpture pays tribute to the ceramic traditions of Rishton, a city famous for its natural and eco-friendly ishkor glaze made from gulyak grass ashes.
